The Swirly Story
In October of 1995, artist Christine Miller created Swirly in a 12' x 12' home office in Santa Barbara. She began with a small line of greeting cards, printed and assembled individually, and one card rep. By the time Swirly's two year anniversary arrived, well over 50,000 handmade cards had been created and shipped around the country and Swirly's growth was just beginning. The home office soon evolved into a multi-line wholesale stationery business with more than 40 reps, 200 individual products, 1000 gift shop accounts and an 1100 square foot office in downtown Santa Barbara. Swirly and Swirly Girl are now nationally recognized brands with a comprehensive product line and a gift book available in three languages. Christine's mission for Swirly was to inspire others to make their dreams real, and she has received countless letters, cards and emails from fans all over the world who have been inspired by her work, her vision and her passion.
